What filters are available in both AI and Standard mode?
In both search modes, you can filter assets by:
Asset type (images, videos, or both)
Orientation (landscape, portrait, square)
Source (uploads, Collectors, Creators, social channels — including combining multiple sources)
Asset status (based on usage rights availability)
Quality score (Any, Good, Great)
These filters help you refine results regardless of how you’re searching.
❗Heads up
Available filters may change depending on what you’re viewing. For example, when browsing Recently Approved content, the Asset Status filter is hidden because all assets are already marked as Ready-to-use.
What additional filters are available in Standard mode only?
When using Standard Search mode, you unlock more advanced filtering capabilities.
Date Range Filtering (only available in Standard mode)
Date added
Date created
Date rights approved
Use the date range picker, then click Apply to update your results.
Excluding Terms (NOT-style search)
To exclude a term, add a dash (-) before the word. For example: hiking -johnsmith
This removes any assets that contain “johnsmith” in their metadata.
Why are these Standard mode features important?
Date range filtering and exclusions are essential for narrowing large libraries. These features restore advanced control and address a key limitation in the earlier version of the new experience.
What is the default sorting behaviour?
On Discover pages that are not part of a search, assets are sorted by Date Added (newest to oldest).
On search result pages, assets are automatically sorted by Relevance, so the most applicable content appears first.
❗Heads up
Uploads are sorted by upload date rather than created date, while social assets are sorted by ingestion date instead of the original posted date.
