How do I start uploading assets?

Click the + New button and choose File Upload. A new upload page will open where you can drag and drop files or click Select Files to browse.

Can I add metadata during upload?

Yes! After selecting your files, you’ll be able to:

  • Add the assets to one or more folders.

  • Apply relevant metadata (tags, descriptions, etc.).

What happens after I click upload?

You’ll see a confirmation page once your upload is complete. From there, you can go directly to the folder or start another upload.

Can I upload from a mobile device?

Yes. Open CrowdRiff in your mobile browser, go to My Visuals, and follow the same steps. The interface works the same way on mobile.

Can I leave the page during upload?

Absolutely! Uploads continue in the background, and you’ll get a notification in CrowdRiff once they’re complete.

Where do my uploads go?

  • If you’re inside a folder, assets will upload to that folder.

  • If no folder is selected, uploads default to the My Visuals homepage > Unorganized files.

  • You can also find all your uploads under UGC > Ready to Use > Uploaded stream.

What file types and sizes are supported?

You can upload up to 50 assets at a time, with each file up to 10GB. Supported formats include: JPG, PNG, GIF, SVG, PDF, WebP, HEIC, TIFF, MP4, MOV, FLV, MKV, MPG, WMV.
