Yes, You still need to request rights for any UGC you plan to use in marketing, just like with social trackers.
Why does the Facebook page owner need to approve all permissions?
This is a Meta requirement. In order to successfully pull content, all Facebook permissions must be enabled. CrowdRiff will never post or share anything on your behalf. Enabling these permissions simply grants CrowdRiff access to the necessary API endpoints to ingest content properly.
Can someone connect Instagram without connecting Facebook?
No, Instagram accounts must be connected through their linked Facebook page for tracking to work.
How can I view content from tracked accounts?
In classic experience, Go to Settings > Social > Followed Accounts > View Assets.
Can I pull in Instagram Reels?
Yes! Reels are supported through Advanced Tracking as of July 6, 2022.
