What’s the difference between Followed Accounts and Advanced Tracking?

  • Followed Accounts: Automatically ingest Instagram posts by adding any business or creator account.

  • Advanced Tracking: Send a request link to the account owner. Once they approve access via their connected Facebook page, you can collect their posts, Stories, Reels, tagged content, and @mentions.

How do I add an Instagram account using Followed Accounts?

  1. In Classic experience > go to Settings > Followed Accounts.

  2. Switch to the Instagram tab.

  3. Click + Add Account.

  4. Enter the Instagram handle.

  5. Click Add Account.

How do I setup Advanced Tracking for Instagram or Facebook?

  1. Go to Settings > Social > Followed Accounts > Customize.

  2. Add your brand color, logo, and connect a gallery.

  3. Write your outreach message.

  4. Click Save, then View to preview the portal.

How do I use Advanced Tracking for Instagram or Facebook?

  1. Click Copy beside the tracking URL.

  2. Send the link to the account owner.

How do I delete a Followed or Advanced Tracking account?

To remove an account, just click the three dots next to it and select “Remove account.”
