How do I add or remove Social Trackers and Blocked Content?

Social trackers help CrowdRiff collect the right content for your library. Blocked content filters out visuals from unwanted hashtags, keywords, or usernames—so you only see what matters.

How do I add Instagram hashtag trackers?

  1. In Classic experience, go to Settings > Hashtags.

  2. Click + Add Hashtag.

  3. Enter any hashtag and click Add Account.

Heads up

  • If you’ve hit your limit, new hashtags will go into a queue and activate automatically once space is available.

Why am I not seeing content for all the hashtags I’m tracking?

Instagram allows a max of 30 tracked hashtags across all apps linked to your Facebook business page. If you’re using other tools that track hashtags, it may affect what’s ingested into CrowdRiff.

How do I remove an Instagram hashtag tracker?

Hover over the hashtag and click Remove.

How do I block specific usernames, hashtags, or keywords?

  1. Go to Blocked Content.

  2. Enter the term (e.g., @username, #hashtag, or a keyword)

  3. Click + Add.

Can I bulk add blocked terms?

Yes! Separate each entry with a comma.

For example: handle, #handle, @handle, "handle is", "handle, is"

This adds six separate terms to your Blocked Content list.
