How do I add an Instagram account using Followed Accounts?
Go to Settings > UGC > Followed Accounts.
Click + Add Account.
Enter the Instagram handle.
Click Follow.
Once added, new posts from that account will begin appearing in your library. You can track up to 200 accounts per connected business account.
How do I auto-approve blanket rights for followed accounts?
Available on the Engagement Pro and Enterprise plans.
If you work with partners or creators who have given you blanket permission to use their content, an administrator can turn on automatic rights approval for any Instagram account you follow. Any new content that account posts is then marked as rights-approved as soon as it appears in your library, so you can skip the manual approval step.
See How do I automatically mark assets as rights-approved? for the full setup steps.
How do I add an Instagram Hashtag trackers?
Go to Settings > UGC > Followed Hashtags.
Click + Add Hashtag.
Enter any hashtag and click Follow.
❗Heads up
You can track up to 30 hashtags per connected business account.
Once you’ve hit your limit, new hashtags will go into a queue and activate automatically once space is available.
Removed hashtags may continue counting toward your total for up to 7 days.
Why am I not seeing content for all the hashtags I’m tracking?
Instagram allows a max of 30 tracked hashtags across all apps linked to your Facebook business page. If you’re using other tools that track hashtags, it may affect what’s ingested into CrowdRiff.
How do I remove a tracker?
Click the trash can icon to delete a hashtag or followed account.
How do I block specific usernames, hashtags, or keywords?
Go to Settings > UGC> Blocked Content.
Click + Block Term.
Enter the term (e.g., @username, #hashtag, or a keyword)
Click Block.
Can I bulk add blocked terms?
Yes! Separate each entry with a comma.
For example: handle, #handle, @handle, "handle is", "handle, is"
This adds six separate terms to your Blocked Content list.
How to remove assets already in your streams?
Go to Settings > UGC > Blocked Content.
Click the magnifying glass icon beside the hashtag, username, or keyword.
This takes you to Assets blocked by "...", showing all content associated with that term.
Select the assets you want to delete from the platform.
