How do I create and manage Media Hub albums?

What’s the structure of Media Hub?

Media Hub uses a hierarchical structure to keep your content organized and easy to share.

  • Albums hold assets - and can now hold other albums, with no limit on nesting depth.

  • Visuals can live at any level, including directly inside a top-level album.

  • Each album can be shared publicly or privately.

  • All actions sync between the classic and new experience.

How do I access Media Hub?

  1. Click Media Hub from the left navigation menu.

  2. Use the internal view to manage your content.

  3. Click Go to Media Hub to open the public portal. This is where you customize branding and copy your public share link.

  4. Use Settings to manage default access permissions.

How do I create albums?

  1. Click Add.

  2. Choose to create a folder, album, or upload assets.

  3. Folders appear in the left navigation.

  4. Albums display in the main grid view or inside folders.

How do I organize folders and albums?

Drag and drop albums into folders. Use the three-dot menu or right-click (in the grid or sidebar) to access additional actions:

  • Folders: Add album, rename, delete.

  • Albums: Rename, move, share, delete.

Can I nest albums inside other albums?

Yes. Media Hub supports unlimited album hierarchy, you can nest albums inside albums as deep as your content structure requires, with no limit on levels.

This means you can build a structure that mirrors how you naturally organize content and how your audience expects to browse it. For example:

  • A top-level Campaigns album can contain Spring 2025 and Fall 2025 sub-albums.

  • Each of those can have their own sub-albums broken out by region, partner, or theme.

  • Visuals can live at any level including directly in a top-level album.

When a partner or media contact accesses your Media Hub, they see a structure that's intuitive to navigate - no extra context needed.

How do I upload assets to Media Hub?

You can start an upload from either Media Hub or My Visuals. The flow is the same:

  1. Choose which My Visuals folders and Media Hub albums to upload into.

  2. Upload up to 50 assets.

  3. Add metadata such as location, author, and usage rights.

  4. Complete the upload and review the confirmation.

Can I add existing assets to Media Hub albums?

Yes. From My Visuals, find the asset and click Add to from:

  • The asset thumbnail.

  • The asset detail page.

  • The bulk action bar.

You can choose an existing album or create a new one.

Can I move or remove assets from albums?

  • Move assets between albums to reorganize them. Assets inherit the destination album's permissions.

  • Remove assets from an album without deleting them from your library.

How do I search folders, albums, or assets?

Use the search bar in Media Hub to find folders or albums by name, or search assets using one of two modes:

  • AI mode: best for descriptive, natural language searches, such as "snowy mountain trails at sunset."

  • Standard mode: searches asset metadata and is best for specific tags like locations, event names, or photographer names.
