What content should I migrate first?
Start by deciding what you want to bring over right away:
Focus on high-priority assets for launch
Choose a simple folder structure or use a keyword-based naming system for easier searching
You can also use a mix of both, you’ll have flexibility to reorganize later
How should I organize my content?
Create a dedicated folder in your current DAM called "CrowdRiff" and place all the content you want to migrate inside. A few tips to clean up your assets before they move over:
CrowdRiff supports unlimited folder nesting (e.g., Folder > Folder > Folder > file.jpg)
No need for a perfect structure as assets can be reorganized post-migration
Filter your ready-to-use content by date range, then review, archive, or delete anything older than your chosen cutoff date
Filter content in My Visuals with the status Not ready to use, then review and request rights—or review and archive/delete
Set up a taxonomy system to keep assets consistent and searchable
