How do I prepare for my migration to CrowdRiff’s DAM?

Get started with a smooth transition to CrowdRiff’s DAM system by organizing your content and choosing the best transfer method.

What content should I migrate first?

Start by deciding what you want to bring over right away:

  • Focus on high-priority assets for launch

  • Choose a simple folder structure or use a keyword-based naming system for easier searching

  • You can also use a mix of both—you’ll have flexibility to reorganize later

How should I organize my content?

Create a dedicated folder in your current DAM called “CrowdRiff” and place all the content you want to migrate inside.

  • CrowdRiff supports unlimited folder nesting (e.g., Folder > Folder > Folder > file.jpg)

  • No need for a perfect structure—assets can be reorganized post-migration

How do I share files with CrowdRiff?

Choose your preferred transfer method:

  • Google Drive: Share an editor access link to your folder with [email protected]

  • Dropbox: Share an editor access link with [email protected]

  • No cloud storage? We’ll provide a secure SFTP option
