What is the Collectors overview page?
The Collectors overview page is where you create and manage all collectors in CrowdRiff. From this page, you can view existing collectors, search by name, organize the list, and access collector management actions.
Use this page as your main workspace for launching new collectors and maintaining existing ones.
On the overview page you can:
View all existing collectors
Search for a collector by name
Sort collectors using available sorting options
Switch between list view and grid view
Access quick actions for each collector
How do I create a new collector?
Create a collector when you want to gather assets from your community through a shareable upload form.
Click Create Collector.
Type a collector name.
Click Create.
Open the collector to configure branding, form fields, and settings.
Click Save once configuration is complete.
How do I customize collector branding?
The Branding tab allows you to control how your collector appears to contributors. This helps ensure the upload experience reflects your organization’s brand.
You can add your logo and a background image, as well as define how your organization name appears on the collector page.
In the Branding tab you can:
Update the organization name
Upload or change the brand logo
Upload or change the background image
Review how the collector appears to contributors
How do I configure the collector form?
The Form tab allows you to collect additional information from contributors and include your legal terms for submissions.
Form settings include:
Adding an optional form field
Including terms and conditions
Reviewing the contributor submission form
Saving your form configuration
What settings can I configure for a collector?
The Settings tab controls how contributors submit content and how the collector can be shared.
Use these settings to customize the share link, control upload behaviour, and add keywords that help organize incoming assets.
In the Settings tab you can:
Customize the collector share link
Copy the embed code
Enable single file upload
Enable usage restrictions
Add keywords for submitted assets
Save your configuration
How do I manage an existing collector from the Overview page?
Each collector includes quick management options that allow you to edit or remove it, or copy its sharing link and embed code.
Hover over a collector
Click the three dots (⋮) menu
Choose one of the following actions:
Edit the collector
Copy share link
Copy embed code
Delete collector
How do I access assets uploaded to a collector?
Assets submitted through a collector are automatically added to your asset library. You can view them directly within the collector or from the Discover section.
To access collector assets:
Click the collector to view its uploaded assets
Or go to Discover > Click Ready to Use > Scroll down until you see "From your Collectors" section to see all collector submissions
❗Heads up
Contributor details are recorded in the Licensing tab to track asset sources and usage rights.
Collectors, their settings, and submitted assets are synced between the classic and new experiences.
Each upload supports up to 50 files, with a maximum size of 5GB per asset.
