How do I get the embed code for an asset?
Open the asset's details page.
Click the "..." menu.
Select Get embed code.
Copy the code and paste it into your web page.
You can also copy the embed as an iframe if you prefer.
Should I use a single embed or the Denver gallery template?
Both let you display CrowdRiff assets on your site, but they serve different needs:
Use a single embed when you want to drop one image or video onto a page quickly.
Use the Denver gallery template when you want more control over the design, such as adding a Call-to-Action (CTA).
Keep in mind:
Single embeds don't include analytics. If you need engagement data on the assets you display, use a gallery instead.
What playback options are available for video embeds?
When you create a video embed, you get playback options that aren't available with the iframe version:
Autoplay: Starts the video automatically when a visitor loads the page. Sound is muted by default, since all major browsers require muted playback for autoplay to work.
Loop: Replays the video continuously once autoplay is enabled. This works well for short clips or hero sections on your site.
Both options are in the single embed creation UI, alongside the standard video controls.
Where do I manage the embeds I've created?
Go to the Asset embeds page under Build to view, manage, and delete all of your embeds in one place. The page also shows which team member created each embed.
Note that the creator's name is only shown for embeds made in the new experience.
Do I need to migrate my existing embeds?
No. There's no migration needed and no backwards incompatibility:
Any embeds you created in the classic experience will continue to work.
New embeds are created exclusively in the new CrowdRiff experience.
