How do I open a new request?
Go to the Requests tab.
Click New request in the top right corner.
How do I add a title and location?
Request title: Enter a short name for your request, like “Dog-Friendly Patio at Hopside Brewing.”
Location: Enter the address where the shoot takes place.
Licensed to: This is the account the content will be licensed to. It’s filled in for you.
Should I choose Direct or Pitch?
Select Direct or Pitch under the licensing field. Most of your requests will likely be direct requests.
Direct: Best for one specific thing you want captured. You get one request and one submission. For example: “Feature how dog-friendly Hopside Brewing’s patio is, sometime between October 1 and 15.”
Pitch: Best for themed requests, where creators bring you ideas. See How and when do I submit a pitch?
What do I write in Request details?
The Request details box comes with five headings already in place. Write your answers under each one.
Objective
What should this content do for you? Be specific about the goal and where you’ll use the content.
Less helpful: “Promote the brewery.”
More helpful: “Show visitors that Hopside is a great place to bring their dog, for our fall Instagram campaign and our pet-friendly travel page.”
Key Messaging + Target Audience
List the one or two ideas viewers should walk away with, and who you’re trying to reach. Include age range, interests, or travel style if you know them.
Less helpful: “It’s a fun place for everyone.”
More helpful: “Dogs are welcome everywhere on the patio, and staff bring out water bowls and treats. It’s a relaxed local spot. Audience: couples and friends in their late 20s to 40s who travel with their dogs on weekend trips.”
Atmosphere & Vibe
Describe how the place should feel on camera. This helps the creator choose the right time to shoot and the right energy to capture. Some examples:
Lively and social: A busy patio, groups laughing, music playing. Usually best on weekend afternoons or evenings.
Calm and laid back: A quieter space, slow moments, relaxed conversation. Usually best on weekday mornings or early afternoons.
Cozy and intimate: Warm lighting, close-up details, a couple or small group. Great for evenings, fall, or winter.
Family-friendly: Kids and parents enjoying the space, bright and daytime.
Upscale and polished: Clean compositions, plated details, a refined feel.
Compare:
Less helpful: “Good vibes.”
More helpful: “Laid back and sunny. A few groups on the patio with their dogs, but not packed. Warm fall light, people lingering over a pint.”
Must Capture Moments
List anything you absolutely need in the final content. Our creators always bring their own creative direction, but this is where you make sure the essentials don’t get missed. For example:
A pan of the brewery’s sign at the front entrance
The creator ordering a specific drink or menu item, like the seasonal pumpkin ale
Two friends clinking glasses and laughing together
A dog being greeted by staff with a water bowl or treat
💡Pro Tip: Keep this list to the true essentials. A short, specific list gets better results than a long one.
❗Heads up: Add anything the creator needs to know to make the shoot successful. For example:
Business hours, or days it’s closed (for example, “Closed Thursdays”)
A link to buy tickets or make a reservation
Who to ask for on arrival
Areas that are off limits for filming
How do I choose my shoot time?
Select one of three options:
Anytime: Use this when the shoot can happen whenever. For example, your brewery request isn’t tied to a season or event.
Range: Use this when the shoot needs to happen within a window. For example, any day between October 1 and October 31.
Specific date: Use this when the shoot can only happen on certain days. For example, every Saturday in November, added as four separate dates.
How do I submit my request?
Click Submit. Not ready yet? Click Save Draft to come back to it later.
Once submitted, your request shows a Request review status on your Requests tab. This means a member of our Creator Operations team is reviewing it and getting it ready for creators. Requests are usually approved and live for creators within 2 to 3 business days.
