Teams often forget to tag partners in new and upcoming content, which leaves gaps in partner reporting. Now, when you edit a social caption or web page content, CrowdRiff AI checks your draft against your partner list and adds the partners it finds.
How does automated partner tagging work?
Write or edit your copy, such as a social caption or web page content.
Click out of the text box. Content Planner checks your copy against your workspace’s partner list. It doesn’t check while you’re still typing.
Watch for the sparkle loading state while the check runs.
Review the partners that were added. Partners the AI is confident about are added to the content and marked as added by AI, so they look different from manual tags. A toast confirms the change.
What are the benefits of automated partner tagging?
Fully automated: Focus on writing instead of searching for and tagging partners.
Better coverage: More linked content leads to stronger partner reporting.
Still in your control: Correct tags and override auto-tagged choices whenever you need to.
Can I still tag partners manually?
Yes. You can tag additional partners manually at any time, and manual tags take priority over automatic ones.
You can also remove a partner the AI added. Once you remove it, it won’t be re-added to that content automatically, even if your copy still mentions the partner. To override this, add the partner back manually.
Why isn’t a partner being tagged?
Check these first:
Is the partner in your partner list? Automated tagging only tags partners already in your workspace’s partner list. Close variants of a partner’s name are picked up, so the name doesn’t have to match exactly. A missing partner is almost always a list issue.
Did you click out of the text box? The check runs when you click away, not while you type. Typing a partner name and waiting won’t trigger it.
Did you remove the partner earlier? A partner you removed from this content won’t be re-added automatically. Add it back manually.
How do I turn off automated partner tagging?
Contact [email protected] and we’ll turn it off for your workspace.
