How do I create a new map?

  1. Click Build > Maps in the left navigation menu.

  2. Click Create New.

  3. Enter a map name - this is for internal use only and won't be visible to visitors.

  4. Enter a display name - this is the title external visitors will see when the map is embedded on your webpage.

  5. Add a description to provide context for your map.

💡 Pro tip: You're not limited to your originally indicated home base location. Once you add places, the map automatically adjusts its focal point to that geographic area.

How do I add and manage places?

To add a place:

  1. Click + Add a place.

  2. Type the name of the place you want to add.

  3. Select it from the list of suggestions.

To remove a place:

  1. Click the x icon next to the place.

  2. Click Remove to confirm.

💡 Pro tip:

  • You can drag and drop places to rearrange their order in the list.

  • There's no limit to the number of assets you can add. We recommend including at least one photo or video per location to keep visitors engaged. For the best experience, use a mix of images and videos that highlight each location from different angles.

When adding assets in the map editor, you have access to:

  • Your full DAM folder library

  • A multi-search workflow with persistent asset selection

  • Location suggestions (instead of automatic filtering)

How do I add details to a place?

  1. Click on the place you've added to open its settings.

  2. Under the Build tab, you can add:

    • A description

    • Assets (photos and videos)

    • A Call-to-Action (CTA)

How do I customize the map's appearance?

To update the map style and pins:

  • Go to the Customize tab > Mapped Area to change the:

    • Map style

    • Design

    • Pin shape

    • Pin color

To update the design of individual places:

  • Go to the Places tab to modify:

    • Colors and CTAs

    • Corner radius (rounded or sharp)

    • Video preview settings (enable or disable)

How do I preview and publish my map?

  1. Once satisfied with all changes, click Save.

  2. Click Preview to see how your map will appear to visitors before publishing.

  3. Click Get Embed Code to copy the code for adding the map to your website.
